The Hoxton Window Project is hosted by UNIT9 and curated by Anrick Bregman. Our premise is simple: we have four windows overlooking Hoxton Square, and we want to keep those windows covered with interesting art, whatever form that takes. “This project was quite an undertaking at first. I’m normally used to the privacy of my drawing desk and working on cartridge paper. The busy location of the window was almost like a live performance on a scale and surface that I was completely unfamiliar with. Once I got past the initial fear, it felt so effortless that I could have kept going for days, weeks and even months. The hardest part can be knowing when to stop.”
